When most people see a home hit the market, they see the polished photos, the staged rooms, the clean landscaping. What they don’t see is everything that happens behind the scenes to get a home in La Crescenta ready for buyers. And honestly… that behind-the-scenes part is my favorite.
When I listed 2409 Olive Ave, it wasn’t just another property. It was a chance to bring a home to life, tell its story, and show off the neighborhood I care so much about.
First Step: Repairs, Touch-Ups, and Rolling Up My Own Sleeves
Before anything goes live, I bring in my trusted vendors for repairs and touch-ups. But I don’t just hand over the keys and disappear — I’m there, overseeing every detail.
For this home, I even planted flowers and a tree myself. Yes… dirt under the nails, watering in the late afternoon, the whole thing. It's not glamorous, but it makes a difference. When buyers pull up, they feel the care immediately.
Staging With Purpose — Matching the La Crescenta Lifestyle
Staging isn’t just about making a house look pretty. It needs to match the neighborhood vibe.
La Crescenta buyers want comfort, simplicity, light, and that “Foothills calm.”
So for 2409 Olive Ave, I worked closely with my stager to make sure the space felt inviting, open, and easy to imagine living in. The goal is always the same: help buyers emotionally connect the moment they walk through the door.
Photos, 3D Tours, and Floor Plans: Giving Buyers Every Way to Experience the Home
Professional photos are just the start.
Today’s sellers (and buyers) expect more, and honestly—they deserve more.
So I added:
- A full 3D Matterport tour – because I want people to virtually “walk through” the home at midnight from bed if they want to.
- Floor plans – because some buyers need to see the flow before they ever step foot inside.
- Neighborhood highlights – since location is everything in La Crescenta.
The more ways a buyer can experience the home, the more likely they are to fall in love with it.
And Now… the Videos (My Favorite Part)
I’m not an actor — not even close.
But video day is honestly one of the most fun parts of the process.
We shoot lifestyle clips, walkthroughs, neighborhood shots, and anything else that showcases what it feels like to live here. Videos generate the most views, the most engagement, and the most interest.
Even if I feel nervous on camera sometimes, I show up and have fun with it because it works — and because clients deserve a modern marketing approach.
The Truth: It’s Never “List It and Forget It”
For 2409 Olive Ave, just like every listing, I did whatever it took to make sure the home was in prime condition.
This job isn’t about tossing a sign in the yard and hoping for offers. There’s strategy, creativity, sweat, behind every listing.
And honestly? I love the process. All of it — the planning, the planting, the filming, the storytelling. That’s where the magic happens and that’s what my sellers get.
If you're in La Crescenta, La Cañada, Pasadena, or anywhere in the Foothills and want a realtor who actually shows up and does the work, I’d love to help prepare your home the right way.
